Katie Specht is a children’s book author and mother of four amazing kids, including a set of twins. Her stories are based on experiences that have happened to her own children. She writes these books with the hope that other kids will be able to relate to them and that their families will find them useful for various childhood situations. When she is not driving her kids to their countless activities, working on future stories, or promoting her books, she also does freelance work for the Feathered Quill writing book reviews. In her spare time, she enjoys baking sweet treats, traveling with her family, taking her kids to the beach, cheering on her sons at their baseball games, spending relaxing days exploring local lakes on her family's boat, and getting lost in a good book.
