Katie Li

Hi! I'm Katie Li, a writer from Boston currently living in Kansas City, MO. I write fiction and essays about mixed-race identity and finding your voice in American culture. My experimental novella, Somewhere In Between, was a selected finalist for the IPNE Book awards 2015. My essays have appeared in The Huffington Post, Bitch Flicks, Write from Wrong, and Xenith. I currently publish my stories directly to readers with a monthly subscription program. 

I love finding ways to build community with technology and storytelling, and I believe stories help us educate ourselves and empathize with others as we work towards a more compassionate world.
