Future Ghost Librarian Reads
My name is Alli and I’ve been an avid reader since childhood. After earning a B.A. in English Literature and then a M.S. in Library and Information Science, you can imagine that I have very specific thoughts about each book that I complete.
Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting Multiple Sclerosis during my undergraduate studies. As I’ve aged, I’ve noticed that I’ve begun to lose my ability to recall those very specific thoughts on each book I complete. As a result, my reading habits have trended downward exponentially in recent years. I’m hoping that my book review blog will help to rejuvenate my reading self and serve as a way for the ghost inside of me to recapture her love of literature.
I prefer to read horror and contemporary literary fiction. For non-fiction, I gravitate toward true crime and philosophy. I also read shoujo and horror manga when life gets too heavy. (Don’t believe me? Check out my Sailor Moon podcast!)
