My contribution to our nation's conundrum of family homelessness is HEAR US Inc.    

Our videos, books and presentations illuminate the magnitude of this issue. The greater the understanding of how many babies, toddlers, children and youth are without a place to call home, the more enlightened our response will be. That’s the theory. And it tends to work in most places. 

HEAR US turned 20 in July, 2024. 20 years on the road chronicling family homelessness is a long time. Too long for those who are mired in the stressful condition of not having a place to call home. My book, Dismazed and Driven - My Look at Family Homelessness in America, will give you a glimpse into this world. Our new book (9/1/24), The Three Melissas - The Practical Guide to Surviving Family Homelessness, is the most impactful book I've ever been part of writing. 

Our HEAR US Bookshop will feature our books but also other worthwhile reads about homelessness, poverty, and social justice topics. HEAR US receives a small portion of the sales price if you purchase through our "bookshop."
