Couth Buzzard Books

Couth Buzzard is an independent new/used bookstore, cafe, performance space, and--most importantly -- a key community gathering hub in North Seattle for over 30 years. Our cafe serves hot and cold sandwiches, pastries, homemade pizzas, espresso, beer, wine and more.. The Couth Buzzard is home to a weekly Open Mic, as well as writing groups, book clubs, discussion groups, Spanish, French, and Gaelic and other community meetup groups. We regularly feature live comedy, book readings, and many acoustic concerts -- featuring local musicians playing original and traditional music in genres including jazz, Celtic, Brazilian, singer/songwriter showcases, blues, folk, classical, and many more.
