My first job was in a local bookstore in my hometown in rural West Virginia. The store was a little unorganized but it had so much character! From the front window displays to the local author section, it was just a fun place to be. Sadly, the store closed down and was replaced by a clothing store. Since then, I've loved the idea of supporting local and independent bookstores all over!
