Book Moon
Our tiny, shiny bookshop is a couple of years old and for 15 months of that we were doing phone & online orders and curbside pickup & shipping so we very much appreciate all the online orders here and on our website. Thank you! We just launched the Moonlight Club because we want to keep ahead of Massachusetts Minimum Wage which, with luck, will rise to $20/hour by 2027.
Don't miss our BKMN, Denizen of the Book Moon, and READ BOOKS PUNCH NAZIS shirts.
- Bookshop.org Book Drive: Donate copies of the fabulous (really, strongly recommended) The 1619 Project to schools and nonprofits.
- New: registries and wishlists.
Located in the bookstore-rich community of western Massachusetts, Book Moon is an indie bookstore run by the husband-and-wife team of Kelly Link — author of the Pulitzer finalist Get in Trouble and coming soon: White Cat, Black Dog — and Gavin J. Grant, founder and publisher of Small Beer Press. Book Moon carries mostly new books with a focus on fiction, sf&f, poetry, activism, graphic novels, and kids books as well as a few collectible first editions, cards, T-shirts, candles, puzzles, tea, and some very tasty chocolate. They welcome dogs large and small, and offer mysterious book bundles in brown paper packages tied up in string.
