Book Moon
A new book drive! To celebrate National Poetry Month, Bookshop.org and Book Moon are proud to partner with Penguin Young Readers to donate copies of Amanda Gorman’s books to schools and community organizations across the country. Donations accepted from March 14, 2022 through May 13, 2022. When you purchase a copy through this page, you will be supporting our chosen donation partner We Need Diverse Books with the donated book/s, as well as supporting this tiny but mighty bookshop!
We're delighted to be part of the many bookshops helping to get copies of The 1619 Project into schools and nonprofits.
Our tiny, shiny bookshop is 2 years old and for 15 months of that we were doing phone & online orders and curbside pickup & shipping so we very much appreciate all the online orders here and on our website. Thank you! Don't miss our Nice Gift or BKMN, Denizen of the Book Moon, or READ BOOKS PUNCH NAZIS shirts.
Located in the bookstore-rich community of western Massachusetts, Book Moon is an indie bookstore run by the husband-and-wife team of Kelly Link — author of the Pulitzer finalist Get in Trouble — and Gavin J. Grant, founder and publisher of Small Beer Press. Book Moon carries new & used books with a focus on fiction, sf&f, poetry, activism, graphic novels, and kids books as well as collectible first editions, cards, puzzles, and some very tasty chocolate. They welcome dogs large and small, and offer mysterious book bundles in brown paper packages tied up in string.
