Aurora Levins Morales Bookstore
This is the online bookstore of Aurora Levins Morales, poet, essayist and fiction writer. Widely considered a prophetic voice, offering clarity, hope and possibility in tumultuous times, she is the author of seven books, and has been widely anthologized and translated. Her most recent book, Rimonim: Ritual Poetry of Jewish Liberation, is available for preorder from Ayin Press. In Fall 2024, Duke University Press will be publishing The Story of What is Broken is Whole: An Aurora Levins Morales Reader.
Earlier books include Silt: Prose Poems, exploring the geography, ecology and social histories of the Mississippi River system and the Caribbean Sea and Medicine Stories: Essays for Radicals, a collection of writings about how we change the world toward justice, both released in 2019.
Kindling: Writings On the Body (2013) is a multi-genre disability justice collection about bodies as sites of struggle, defiance and healing. Cosecha and Other Stories (2014) is a posthumous collaboration with her mother, Puerto Rican writer Rosario Morales.
