Aristata Press Bookstore
Aristata Press is women-run non-profit press. In October of 2022, we launched our first two commercial titles: LEAVINGS: Memoir of a 1920’s Hollywood Love Child by Megan McClard, and Díganle a mi madre que estoy en el paraíso: Memorias de una prisionera política en El Salvador, Aristata Press’s first book in translation, edited by Judy Blankenship and Andrew Wilson. Our community of publishers and writers are passionate about reading, creating, and sharing great writing. Aristata Press seeks writers of fresh literary fiction, poetry and non-fiction. As a non-profit organization, we depend on charitable contributions and volunteers to keep the lights on. We are a tax exempt–501(c)(3)–organization (EIN 92-0281706), which means that your contributions are tax deductible. Contributions that we receive will go directly to supporting the publications of deserving literary works by authors that for one reason or another would be unlikely to find a home in the for-profit publishing sector, and would be unable to navigate the hurdles of self publishing without considerable help.
