Always Here Bookstore

Always Here Bookstore is a queer & trans worker-owned bookstore carrying queer books for all ages. Our store exists to celebrate LGBTQIA+ stories while making space for our community and furthering a historic tradition of queer bookstores.

 

Shopping with us through Bookshop.org helps further our mission to create a radical, inclusive third space for queer and trans people of all ages. From poetry to cookbooks, literary fiction to middle grade graphic novels, all of the titles we celebrate are either written by a LGBTQIA+/queer-identifying author or are what we'd call "queer in content." To us, queerness is a not only a spectrum of sexuality and gender, but a political signifier of existing outside of compulsory normativity.
