A Book Place

A little indie bookshop nestled in the middle of Long Island's North and South Forks. A Book Place specializes in a carefully curated selection of titles. We believe in organic book selling and the ideology that a book often picks its reader.  We don't arrange books according to popularity. This isn't to say we don't have bestsellers, we absolutely do, but we also have amazing local authors, indie books and many, many of our favorite suggested reads. Give us a visit and come enjoy the ambiance for yourself.

Further, we love local crafters and skilled artists. We carry gorgeous gift, one-of-a-kind type sidelines and specialty goods. It's a beautiful partnership between local talent and our bookish passion.

Between Memorial Day and December 23rd, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays our hours are 10:00-8:00PM
