The basic operation of the store has always been to accept books in trade for store credit and allow customers to use that credit toward the purchase of any used book in our inventory. It is an elegantly simple process that gives significant benefit to the avid reader while allowing The Book Rack to thrive. We also carry a select collection of new titles, a wide variety of Local Authors books and can order new copies of nearly any title currently in print, which we typically discount 20% off the cover price. We recently added jigsaw puzzles to our online inventory. With the establishment of an account with us we retain an inventory of books you have purchased and those you have traded and if you try to buy a book in that inventory, we will tell you so you don't end up buying the same book twice, unless you want to.
