

Robin Kirk
Kirk's non-fiction book for kids, Righting Wrongs, 20 Human Rights Heroes around the world, is available from Chicago Review Press. She is the author of The Bond (the 2018 Foreward Award Bronze winner for young adult fiction), The Hive Queen, and The Mother's Wheel , which won the 2022 Indie Author award for young adult book by a North Carolina writer. Her short story, "The Influencer," is included in AESTHETIC: A Dark Academia Anthology. Another short story, “Home,” is included in Luna Station Quarterly's Fall 2021 issue. Kirk has published three nonfiction books on human rights in Latin America as well as essays, articles, short stories, and opeds.
She teaches human rights at Duke University.
