A city needs a bookstore like a body needs a soul. Roebling Point Books & Coffee, aka RoPoBoCo, is a destination and a haven for caffeinated readers and book lovers. It’s a connector between energetic, artistic and socially committed people. Our favorite words are "welcome... thank you...hope to see you again soon.” We live la vida local. Our booksellers transform the shop with their presence and smarts, their kindness touches our customers’ hearts, and their hard work connects us to our neighbors in nearby businesses and homes. 

We believe that society ascends in a rising line with literature and literacy. Our golden future lies not at the end of a yellow brick road; instead, it’s a pathway paved by books. Books live forever. This is the magic and power of literacy. In these turbulent times, books let us reflect on words of social conscience and consequence. The authors' wisdom and insight provide both comfort and courage. We need the words they put on the page to echo inside and guide us. We strongly support local books and authors. 

RoPoBoCo is our appreciation for the countless souls who make sure books -- and freedom of speech -- are part of American life.
