YANNIS LOBAINA is an award-winning Cuban artist, author, producer,  filmmaker, photographer and community arts facilitator based in Toronto. Yannis loves to explore themes of immigration, diaspora, language and motherhood through various storytelling tools.

Lobaina has published more than 50 short fiction stories worldwide. As a photographer, she currently focuses on minimalist photographic storytelling, landscapes, patterns and pareidolias in nature.
