About the Author
Terry Blas is an illustrator and writer based in Portland, Oregon. His autobiographical comics, Ghetto Swirl, You Say Latino, and You Say LatinX, were featured on NPR, OPB, Vox, and Cosmo.com. Blas's work has appeared in the comics Bravest Warriors, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time, and Steven Universe. His first graphic novel, Dead Weight: Murder at Camp Bloom, is a murder mystery set at a weight loss camp. Dead Weight was named by YALSA as a 2019 Quick Pick for Reluctant Young Adult Readers. His second graphic novel, Hotel Dare, is an all-ages fantasy epic inspired by his childhood memories of his grandmother in Mexico. It was selected as a YALSA 2020 Great Graphic Novel for Teens.
Anthony Oliveira is a National Magazine and GLAAD award-winning author, film programmer, pop culture critic, and PhD living in Toronto.

Jarrett Melendez grew up on the mean, deer-infested streets of Bucksport, Maine. A former chef and line cook, Jarrett has worked in restaurants, diners, and bakeries throughout New England and Mexico, and got instruction on Japanese home cooking from some very patient host mothers when he lived in Tokyo and Hiroshima. He's been a professional writer since 2009, but started working as a recipe developer and food writer in 2020. His work has appeared on Bon Appétit, Saveur, Epicurious, and Food52, and he is the author of The Comic Kitchen, an upcoming fully illustrated, comic-style cookbook. When not cooking and writing about food, Jarrett is also an award winning comic book writer. His best known work is Chef's Kiss from Oni Press, which won the Alex Award from the American Library Association, along with a GLAAD award nomination for Outstanding Graphic Novel. Jarrett has contributed to the Ringo-nominated All We Ever Wanted, Full Bleed, Young Men in Love, and Murder Hobo: Chaotic Neutral. He is currently working on Tales of the Fungo: The Legend of Cep, a middle-grade fantasy adventure, to be published by Andrews McMeel. He lives in Massachusetts with his collection of Monokuro Boo plush pigs.

Sina Grace is a writer and artist living in Los Angeles, CA who has earned prestigious nominations for both the GLAAD Media Awards and the PRISM Awards. He is best known for his slice-of-life memoirs at Image Comics, including Self-Obsessed and Nothing Lasts Forever; the highly anticipated reimagining of Jughead's Time Police at Archie Comics; and the critically-acclaimed, landmark Iceman series at Marvel Entertainment. Grace has been a part of the Power Rangers comic book series at BOOM! Studios from day one, illustrating variant covers for the chart-topping Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1, along with both writing & illustrating one of the comic book stories celebrating the 25th anniversary of the pop culture phenomenon in 2018.
