About the Author

Margaret "Meg" O'Hair is a mom to two kids, a kindergarten teacher, and an award-winning writer. She likes to be on the water -- whether it's on boats, kayaks, or paddleboards -- with her family and their three Portuguese water dogs, Sailor, Surfer, and Sundance. Meg has been inspired to write books about Sofia from the first day they met, including their picture books You Are Enough and You Are Loved. Sofia Cardoso is an illustrator and designer who specializes in children's illustration. She currently lives in and creates from Portugal.


Sofia Sanchez is a Ukrainian American actress, model, and advocate known for her viral video "Down Syndrome Is Not Scary." The teenager had her acting debut in the TV series Switched at Birth and has also appeared in the films For Paloma and The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, as well as print ads and commercials for Old Navy and Target, among others. Additionally, her adoption story has inspired several picture books with Scholastic, including You Are Enough and You Are Loved. Sofia lives in Northern California with her parents, three older brothers, two dogs, and a cat.
