In parallel, a trail of sequential deaths leaves Atollers in a bind. There is only one survivor, Citzin, and she her memories are manipulated. She is suspected to be a time traveler. Zylus is the only one who can help her, but he is on the other side of the law while Citzin is an accused. But opposites attract! Right?

Thus, the title 'Yama Echo Maya' reflects this duality: Yama, the deity of death, and Maya, the measure of life.
