Eric Larson is smart, good-looking, and full of confidence. When he is sent to a rural Montana town to work in the local branch of his uncle's financial company, Eric is determined to earn a promotion and be back in Seattle by the end of the summer. Eccentric Eunice Parker has come to terms with her illness and has an end-of-summer goal, too: seek forgiveness from everyone on her bucket list before her time runs out. But she can't do it alone.

After an accident brings them together, the unlikely pair spend more time with each other than they would like, which challenges their deepest thoughts, feelings, and beliefs.
