Takako Fisher was born and raised in Mito, Japan. She moved to the United States in 1995 and graduated from Harding University with a BFA in graphic design. After working as an art director and graphic designer, she found her true passion: illustrating children's books. She is also the illustrator of the Little Golden Book Springtime Babies.
