Emma J. Virján was born under an Aries moon, on a Wednesday, her dad's bowling night, which explains her passion for shiny, hardwood floors and extra crunchy snack bar French fries. She loves to draw, sing out loud, and take walks with her dog, Bella, who is often allowed to sleep on the couch. Emma is the author-illustrator of the Pig in a Wig series and other books for children. She makes her home in Austin, Texas, where she spends her days writing and drawing.
