"With prescience and rigor, [Sternberg] addresses questions that lie at the heart of our collective wonder--as human beings, composed of a mélange of the physical, the psychological, and even the esoteric--how do we live, grow, even thrive? The answer lies in no discrete part or piece, but in the recognition and resolution of the whole puzzle. With the determined scientific methodology of the practiced researcher and the appreciation of the medical doctor, together with the clear language of a good writer, she has pursued one of our most relevant contemporary questions for our challenged moment: what constitutes wellbeing in the workplace."--Robert Ivy, CEO of the American Institute of Architects
