Description
Wave Rider is a poetic reflection of author Rebecca Fitton's long journey to heal from sexual abuse, abandonment, and neglect, building a new world based on wholeness of body, mind, and spirit.
Her journey has taken a lifetime.
To use the metaphor of waves, sometimes the undertow nearly drowned her-but she survived.
Now her beautiful and profound book offers inspiration to others who have also suffered greatly from abuse.

About the Author
Rebecca Pott Fitton grew up in Delaware. She received a B.A. in history from Keuka College and master's degrees from the University of Delaware and the University of Detroit. After careers in urban planning and health care administration, she retired as president of a home health care agency in Ohio and has since added her business acumen to five non-profit boards. Her journey of healing from childhood sexual abuse brought her to New Mexico in 2008, attracted by the "blue skies, clean air, majestic landscape, and vibrant arts community." Now, she adds, "Santa Fe feels like home."
