About the Author

Erin Hunter is inspired by a love of cats and a fascination with the ferocity of the natural world. In addition to having great respect for nature in all its forms, Erin enjoys creating rich mythical explanations for animal behavior. She is the author of the Warriors, Seekers, Survivors, Bravelands, and Bamboo Kingdom series. Erin lives in the UK.

Dave Stevenson has devoted his life to thoroughbred horses and horse racing. A former jockey, he rode the prizewinning steed Canadian Champ to win the Canadian Triple Crown in 1959. Following his career as a jockey, Stevenson served for more than thirty years as a trainer and consultant for various racing entities. Stevenson lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
