Kat Odell, the author of Day Drinking and the founding editor of Eater's popular Drinks column, is also an avid home cook with a passion for plant-based foods. Missing the rich locally made almond milk she enjoyed while living in L.A., she began crafting small-batch, artisanal nut-milks--Unicorn Milk--in her kitchen, which led to collaborations with Mimi Cheng's and Il Buco Alimentari, among others.
