About the Author
Scríbhneoir, greannóir agus léachtóir Meiriceánach ab ea Mark Twain (1835-1910), a rugadh Samuel Langhorne Clemens, a raibh aithne air mar gheall ar a éirim agus a léiriú beoga ar shaol Mheiriceá sa 19ú haois. Meastar go forleathan é mar dhuine de na húdair Meiriceánacha is mó. Is minic a dhéanann saothair Twain iniúchadh ar théamaí cine, sochaí agus moráltacht. I measc na n-úrscéalta is cáiliúla dá chuid tá The Adventures of Tom Sawyer agus The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, a mheastar a bheith ina sárshaothair de litríocht Mheiriceá.
