About the Author

Jon Scieszka is the creator of Trucktown, including the New York Times bestselling Smash, Crash!, and the author of The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs!, the Time Warp Trio series, Caldecott Honor Book The Stinky Cheese Man, and many other books that inspire kids to want to read. He has worked as an elementary school teacher and is the founder of GuysRead.com, a literacy initiative for boys.

Douglas Florian is the creator of many acclaimed picture books including How to Draw a Dragon, UnBEElievables, Poetrees, and Dinothesaurus. He lives with his family in New York.

Field & Stream editor-at-large T. Edward Nickens has fished, paddled, backpacked, hunted, and camped from the rainforest to the Arctic Sea. Winner of more than two dozen national writing awards, he is TV host for the Total Outdoorsman Challenge.

Elizabeth Partridge is the author of This Land Was Made for You and Me: The Life and Songs of Woody Guthrie, winner of the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award, and other acclaimed works. She and her husband live in the San Francisco Bay area.
