About the Author
Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) was the author of world-famous books such as Treasure Island and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Robert Ingpen has designed, illustrated, and written more than 100 published works of fiction and nonfiction. In 1986 he was awarded the Hans Christian Andersen Medal for his contribution to children's literature.
