About the Author
Fox Fisher is an award-winning artist, filmmaker and campaigner. They are the co-director of My Genderation, which celebrates trans lives and experiences through film and other mediums. In 2013, they helped found Trans Pride Brighton, and are also an advisor for All About Trans, a project that aims to create more positive media representation of trans people. They received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Brighton for their contribution to both film and campaigning for trans rights. They are the co-author and illustrator of ARE YOU A BOY OR ARE YOU A GIRL?, TRANS TEEN SURVIVAL GUIDE and TRANS SURVIVAL WORKBOOK. They have 35K Twitter followers and 51K Instagram followers.
Ugla Stefanía Kristjönudóttir Jónsdóttir (Owl) is an internationally acclaimed journalist, film maker and campaigner. They currently write a column for the Metro, along with writing regular articles for platforms such as the Guardian, iNews and the Independent. In 2019 they were listed as one of the 100 most influential women, by the BBC 100 Women List.
They are co-director and executive producer for My Genderation, co-author of Trans Teen Survival Guide andTrans Survival Workbook, and are a Project Consultant with All About Trans. Ugla has 15K followers on Twitter, 13K followers on Instagram. They live in Brighton, UK.
