Erik Shaw, a U.S.combat veteran, started Tactical16 in 2012 and understands the therapeutic value that writing provides. We are a nontraditional publisher specializing in working with veterans, first responders, and their family and friends to tell their unique and heartfelt stories to audiences worldwide. Our team works with new clients to create a tailored plan that fits their needs and gives them creative control over their work. Our mission is to preserve and share out authors' victories, tragedies, triumphs, and entertaining stories. Tactical 16 has two parts. Tactical refers to the Armed Forces, Police, Fire, and Rescue communities. The 16 is the number of acres destroyed on September 11, 2001, at Ground Zero.
