About the Author
Henry Fielding (1707-1754) was an English novelist and dramatist known for his rich earthy humor and satirical prowess. His writings reflect his ongoing preoccupation with fraud, sham, and masks. Tom Jones is considered to be his greatest work.
After returning from service with the Army Air Force during WWII, John Bender obtained a B F A in industrial design and then worked in the glass container field. He always had a pocket sketch pad to keep drawing and participated in a Biological workshop at Cornell University in the 60's. John joined the Guild of Natural Science Illustration and still actively draws every day.The illustration if of a chop, representing the business name Pigeon Prints, that he has.
