After returning from service with the Army Air Force during WWII, John Bender obtained a B F A in industrial design and then worked in the glass container field. He always had a pocket sketch pad to keep drawing and participated in a Biological workshop at Cornell University in the 60's. John joined the Guild of Natural Science Illustration and still actively draws every day.The illustration if of a chop, representing the business name Pigeon Prints, that he has.
