Justin Krasner is a writer and bookmaker, lover of learning, mischief maker, loud laugher and sneezer, and curious kid who can't grow up. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.
Megan Hewes Butler, who has written several TinkerActive Workbooks, is a writer and producer who has been creating childrens' curriculum, games, and books for over 15 years. Megan lives, writes, and plays in Park Slope, Brooklyn with her husband and two sons.
Lauren Pettapiece is an illustrator living in Boston who also works as a children's book designer making books for young readers. When she's not drawing scruffy animals she's out hiking and if she's not doing either of those things she's probably buried under the mountain of used books she keeps compulsively buying.
Pettapiece has illustrated TinkerActive Workbooks and Mouse Guard comic books.Les McClaine decided he wanted to draw comics when he was eight years old and has been doing it ever since. He is the Eisner-nominated author of "Johnny Crossbones," "Life With Leslie," "Repeat Until Death," and "Highway 13." He has also illustrated numerous comics including "The Tick" and "The Middleman." In 2008, "The Middleman" was made into a TV series for ABC Family. He lives in Portland, Oregon in a little yellow house with his wife Crystal and their cat Theodore.
Taryn Johnson is an illustrator, animator, and designer. She loves bringing a playful appreciation of nature to her work with bright colors, patterns, and a little imagination. With each project, she hopes to spark curiosity and wonder for our planet and the life that lives here. She graduated from Hampshire College with a B.A. concentrating in digital media and animation, with a splash (literally!) of marine biology. She is currently a full-time freelance illustrator and animator specializing in children's illustration and motion graphics animation.
Chad Thomas is an illustrator and cartoonist living with his family in McKinney, Texas. He's worked on books such as TMNT, Star Wars Adventures, and Mega Man and also illustrates activity and educational titles. He loves his family, comic books, and Star Wars and will let his children beat him in checkers, but never in Mario Kart.
