About the Author

Jill Andrews is a Nashville-based songwriter whose songs have been featured on television shows such as Grey's Anatomy, Nashville, and American Idol. She has collaborated and shared the stage with countless celebrated artists including: The Avett Brothers, Langhorne Slim, Willie Nelson, The Civil Wars, and Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors.

From her days fronting lauded Americana group, the everybodyfields, to her successful solo career as a writer and performer, Andrews's music has taken her far from her East Tennessee roots. She is a graduate of East Tennessee State University where she studied Psychology and Criminology. Andrews lives in Madison, Tennessee with her husband Jerred and her two children, Nico and Falcon. Thirties: The Album in Portrait and Prose, Andrews' first book, is the companion to her fourth album, Thirties.
