About the Author

Nathan Fox lives in North Norfolk with his rescue cat Tosca. He graduated from the University of Sussex with a degree in social work and currently works in local government. He is passionate about the environment and considers animals to be his equals.
Connie Garrard lives in Bromley with her husband Nigel and their cat Baggins. She graduated from the London College of Music and still enjoys teaching piano and encouraging others to discover the world of music after more than 30 years.
Nathan and Connie met online after the loss of their soul animals, Pip and Blackie. Their grief brought them together and inspired them to combine Nathan's storytelling and Connie's artwork to honour their friends in this illustrated storybook.

Reviews

"Defying genre conventions and story expectations all at once is a rare feat, and rarer when it's done with elegance and wit. The Weatherman doesn't just flip the table on your expectations-it lays you out and then sets fire to the restaurant as it leaves. Buckle up, folks: this book is going to take you for a ride." -Greg Rucka, LAZARUS, Queen & Country

"Fantastic sci-fi. Big, f*cked up, futuristic, but relevant to now." -Gerry Duggan, Deadpool, ANALOG

"Weatherman #1 is a series you can't miss. Filled with an intriguing and bonkers premise mixed with stunning visuals that are out of this world. It's purely creative, unique and one of a kind." -Geek.com

"Visually bold, super-fun sci-fi from a comic book A-Team." -Joshua Dysart, Unknown Soldier, Harbinger

"A madcap, unpredictable adventure that looks like a million bucks." -Doom Rocket

LIBRARY JOURNAL (STARRED) -- Nathan Bright is a fun-loving, beloved local weatherman living on a fully terraformed planet Mars in the year 2770, until he's accused of having played a role in a terrorist attack that killed almost the entire population of Earth seven years earlier. Suddenly recast as the most despised man who has ever lived, Nathan is caught between a gang of criminals with a scheme to monetize the public's thirst for vengeance and a government agent convinced that his memories hold the key to preventing future attacks. Who do you turn to when every human in existence hates your guts? LeHeup (Shirtless Bear-Fighter) and Fox (Dogs of War) explore this question in a thrillingly fast-paced, action-packed expert blend of high-concept sf and political thriller. VERDICT Nearly every page of this volume, which collects single issues 1-6 of an ongoing series, adds to Fox's reputation as one of the most talented and dynamic illustrators working in graphic novels today. Not to be missed.
