About the Author
Roger Hutchison is an award-winning author, illustrator, creative communicator, and lay ministry leader in the Episcopal Church. In addition to Sparrow's Prayer, Roger is the author of nine books, including My Favorite Color Is Blue. Sometimes: A Journey through Loss with Art and Color, The Very Best Day: The Way of Love for Children, and The Gift of Baptism.

Jerusalem Jackson Greer is the Staff Officer for Evangelism for The Episcopal Church, and member of the Way of Love creation and leadership team. Additionally, she serves as a Resource Consultant for Baptized for Life, and serves on the board of Forma: The Network for Christian Formation, and Episcopal Relief & Development's Council of Advice. She is often sought out as a speaker and contributor around the topics of evangelism, discipleship, liturgical living, welcoming former evangelicals, and ministry with families and children. She lives with her husband and two teenage sons in rural Arkansas and is the author of At Home in this Life: Finding Peace at the Crossroads of Unraveled Dreams and Beautiful Surprises and A Homemade Year: The Blessings of Cooking, Crafting and Coming Together. As a family they are attempting to live a slower version of the modern life. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. She writes about all of this and more at jerusalemgreer.com

Reviews

"This book is a work of art. The generous layering of paint in its illustrations, coupled with the gentle poetry and depth of its text, creates a moment for readers--whether very young, very old, or anywhere in between--to reflect on what it means to journey on the Way of Love."
--Jennifer Grant, author of Love You More and ALittle Blue Bottle
