About the Author

Catherine Chung was born in Evanston, Illinois, and received an MFA from Cornell University. Her novel Forgotten Country won an Honorable Mention for the PEN/Hemingway Award. Catherine was also a Granta New Voice, and the recipient of a 2014 National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, as well as a Director's Visitor at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. She is a fiction editor at Guernica, and lives in New York City.
