About the Author
Linda Cardillo survived three months in a hotel room in a foreign country with two kids, a hot plate and one pot before her family moved into a house in a small German village just before Christmas. She emerged from the packing boxes not only to find her turkey platter but also to write this story for her children. She is also the author of the critically acclaimed novels Dancing on Sunday Afternoons and Across the Table as well as novellas and short stories. A graduate of Tufts University with a degree in American literature, she also earned an MBA at Harvard Business School at a time when only 15% of the class were women. Armed with her Harvard degree, she managed the circulation of a magazine during its successful start-up, founded a catering business and then built a career as the author of several works of nonfiction. She later went on to teach creative writing before her debut novel, Dancing on Sunday Afternoons, launched Harlequin's Everlasting Love series. She is currently working on her sixth book, a work of historical fiction set in 16th century Italy. Please visit her website at www.lindacardillo.com or write her at [email protected]
