And Santi, meanwhile, almost sacrifices everything good in his life--love, family, friendship--for what may be a lost cause. Gabriel Urza is a writer, attorney, and university professor from Reno, Nevada. He teaches Fiction in the MFA program at Portland State University and lives in Hood River, Oregon.
