Reviews

The Guide to Fundraising Readiness is an incredibly focused and practical guide through all of the steps that any organization must take to actualize their fundraising potential. It is a must-read for any organization starting a program and a great reminder for organizations well on the way.

I was especially interested in the sections on board engagement. Waddy points out that the characteristics of an effective board fundraiser do not start with their capacity to give, but rather with their "natural curiosity, enthusiasm and dedication"-characteristics capable of being strengthened in every board member.
