After defeating the final boss in THE NEW GATE, the online game's most powerful player, Shin, is transported to another world just like the in-game world. Having learned that the orphan Millie was taken captive by the Church, Wilhelm and the others launch a mission to infiltrate the city of Shigerus, site of the sacred temple and enemy headquarters. There, they discover that an organization related to Shin and the other High Humans is in fact behind the incident!
