About the Author
Alice Walker is an activist and a Pulitzer Prize winning author. She has written more than 30 titles, including The Color Purple, The Temple of My Familiar, and The Way Forward is With a Broken Heart. Miko Peled is a writer and human rights activist born and raised in Jerusalem. He is one of the clearest voices calling for justice in Palestine, support of the Palestinian call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS), and the creation of a single democracy with equal rights on all of historic Palestine. He is a gripping public speaker with a very wide following on social media. He has lectured around the world in his campaign to promote justice, democracy, and equal rights for Palestinians and Israelis. The General's Son has been translated into a dozen different languages.
Alice Walker: "There are few books on the Israel/Palestine issue that seem as hopeful to me as this one... We will share the earth, and care for it together, as friends of each other and to Her, or we will lose it. I look to the examples of 'enemies' becoming friends everywhere in this book to help us continue to carefully choose our way."

Ralph Nader: "The story of Miko Peled... reveals how facts, compassion and a universal sense of justice took hold and inspires this energetic and informed voice for peace."
