Description

When raped and dismembered corpses start to appear throughout New York City, the investigation draws police captain Mace into a plot that plays like a horror movie. Taking the lead role in this chilling story may be the challenge of his career, testing his skills and his stamina, but even a superhero would find the series of terrifying crimes daunting. Unlike anything Mace has experienced, every blood-spattered scene is filled with body parts and partially eaten human remains and in the wake of each attack is the haunting premonition of another murdering onslaught. As Mace follows this crimson trail of madness, he must accept the inevitable conclusion: whomever or whatever is responsible for this terror does not intend to stop, and it's up to him to put an end to the chaotic reign of a perpetrator whom, until now, he's met only in the annals of mythology. Unfortunately, the mere mention of the word--werewolf--would send New Yorkers into a panic.

"A madcap ride of killings and chases . . . fast-paced and intense . . . a great addition to any library's collection." --MonsterLibrarian.com
""The Frenzy Way" is definitely a cut above other werewolf novels." "--Dark Scribe Magazine"
"A rip-roaring, bloody-good time that you'll read in a sitting or two. Don't miss it. --Antibacterial Pope
"Combines popular werewolf legends with American Indian myths to produce a delightfully gory horror novel . . . a solid addition to werewolf literature." --"Library Journal"
"Fast-paced, bloody, sexy, and brutal, this is Lamberson at his best." --Dread Central
"Lamberson provides rich characterization and a multilayered plot along with the obligatory gore. Together with a few speculative flourishes about werewolves' shape-shifting origins, Lamberson's clever plot twists make this a nice little werewolf yarn relief, as it were, from the current glut of vampire fiction." --"Booklist"
"Possessing spirited action scenes and distinctive dialogue, the novel penetrates the psyche of a terrorist and comprehends the psychology of terror. It's like taking a savagely wild walk--in animal form." --Hellnotes.com
"This novel is not for the faint of heart . . . "The Frenzy Way" is chillingly seductive, leaving you breathless and hungry for more." --Bob Freeman, The Occult Detective
