About the Author
Patricia Engel is the author of Infinite Country, a New York Times bestseller and Reese's Book Club selection; The Veins of the Ocean, winner of the Dayton Literary Peace Prize; It's Not Love, It's Just Paris, winner of the International Latino Book Award; and Vida, a finalist for the Pen/Hemingway and Young Lions Fiction Awards, New York Times Notable Book, and winner of Colombia's national book award, the Premio Biblioteca de Narrativa Colombiana. She is a recipient of fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. Her stories appear in The Best American Short Stories, The Best American Mystery Stories, The O. Henry Prize Stories, and elsewhere. Born to Colombian parents, and herself a dual citizen, Patricia is an associate professor of creative writing at the University of Miami.
Anthony Rey Perez is an experienced actor and voiceover artist who has worked on everything from commercials to television and film to audiobooks. The books he narrates span ages, classes, genres, and borders. A graduate of Florida State University, he currently resides in Los Angeles.
Gary Tiedemann is a Florida and New York-based narrator, but learned how to act in Chicago's improv, sketch-comedy, and theater scene. He came to audiobook narration after voicing countless commercials and videos over a twenty-year voice-over career. Gary has also appeared in hundreds of improv and sketch performances at Chicago's Annoyance Theatre, iO, The Second City, and in dozens of theater roles as a cofounder of The New Colony Theatre. When Gary is not in a booth, he is probably outside wondering if there is time to go camping.
Dominique Franceschi-Cybulski is a Colombian narrator based in Los Angeles, California. She has a bachelor's degree in performing arts and two associate's degrees in dance and communication studies. When not in the booth, she enjoys playing RPG video games, teaching ballet, and leading movement-based early childhood education classes for toddlers.
Cynthia Farrell is a professional voiceover artist with experience working on video games, commercials, and audiobooks. An Earphones Award winner, she is known for her portrayal of strong female characters. In addition to her voiceover work, she also has worked off-Broadway as a musical-theater singer ever since she attended New York University's musical-theater program. An English and Spanish speaker, she currently resides in her hometown of Los Angeles.
Frankie Corzo is an experienced narrator and actress who spent her childhood performing in theater productions, commercials, films, and voiceovers. Born to Cuban immigrant parents, she narrates and acts in both Spanish and English. Her work has been added to numerous best of lists, including Audible's for 2017 and 2018. Born and raised in New Jersey, she currently splits her time between New York and Los Angeles.
Aida Reluzco is a first-generation queer/LGBTQ+ American of Cuban and Filipino descent as well as a patron and contributor to the creative arts. Having received training in character studies, dialects, animation, and theater, she can usually be found enjoying life with her young family or reading.
Actor George Newbern has appeared in Father of the Bride, Father of the Bride II, Evening Star, Adventures in Babysitting, and many other films. On television, he has had roles on Friends, Nip/Tuck, Hot in Cleveland, CSI, and more. George is also known for providing the voice of Superman in Justice League.
