This is a book that leaves shimmers in the very air." -- Kathi Appelt, New York Times bestselling author of The Underneath and Keeper

"A lively, heartwarming, sometimes perilous tale packed with creepy elements, appealing characters...and more than a few laughs." -- Common Sense Media

"The writing [begs] to be read aloud... a fun book for middle-grade readers [that] will surely inspire them to read--and write--more. -- Booklist

"Thrilling and funny, The Dreamway is a wild, magical ride!" -- Grace Lin, author of The Year of the Dog

"With quirky secondary characters, a compelling plot, and room for a sequel, this is a strong purchase." -- School Library Journal

"Strong family bonds drive the story, whose active characters, from a helpful librarian to a bureaucratic dragonfly, give it spark . . . Phantom Tollbooth fans will feel at home with the illogical destinations and quirky inhabitants of the Dreamway."
-- ALA Booklist
