About the Author
Kelly Thompson is the Eisner-winning writer of comics like BLACK WIDOW, CAPTAIN MARVEL, HAWKEYE, JESSICA JONES, DEADPOOL, ROGUE & GAMBIT, JEM & THE HOLOGRAMS, and many more. Her creator-owned work includes the comic books MEGA PRINCESS, HEART IN A BOX and two novels--THE GIRL WHO WOULD BE KING and STORYKILLER. She currently resides in Oregon with her partner and the two greatest cats to ever live. BLACK CLOAK is her first series at IMAGE.

Mattia De Iulis is a comic book artist and illustrated by from Italy. He is well known as a comic book cover artist, interior artist and colourist, most notably working on some of the biggest titles at Marvel Comics. Mattia has worked for many major companies in the comic book industry, including Marvel Comics, Sergio Bonelli Editore, BOOM! Studios, Image Comics, Dark Horse and more, as a cover artist, interior artist and colourist. He has worked as the interior artist on titles such as Valkyrie, Road to Empyre, Incoming, Invisible Woman, Jessica Jones, Marvel #1000, and most recently, Captain America. Other notable cover work includes Avengers, Star Wars, Hulk, Black Widow, Spider-Woman and more. Mattia is currently working with the Eisner winner Kelly Thompson on a co-creator project, The Cull, published by Image Comics.
