Reviews

Part Grey's Anatomy, part modern western romance, Miller's enjoyable story marries unexpected diagnoses with the promise of a happily-ever-after and will please fans of Jojo Moyes. -- "Publishers Weekly" (9/23/2019 12:00:00 AM)

As a former family physician, Miller is able to write what she knows in such a way that readers will feel at home not just with the descriptions but also with the characters. Abby's experiences providing rural medicine offer readers glimpses into the reasoning behind the decisions people make (and fail to make) about their health and into how being a doctor is about more than just diagnosis and prescriptions.

The Color of Rock is a brilliant novella, a mix of local color and subtle literary merit.-- "Seattle Book Review"
Part romance, part women's fiction, and a touch of mystery thriller. This is a perfect fall read, that will keep you turning the pages until you finish it. I actually finished it in one reading, just because it was that quick of a story. The characters are charming and you'll be rooting for everyone involved for a perfectly happy ending. It's chicklit with heart.-- "Bless Their Hearts Mom blog"
