Description

Through beautiful watercolor illustrations and a touching story, The Christmas Puppy reveals how a sad little shelter dog brings Christmas spirit to all he meets--the perfect stocking stuffer.

A lonely and unwanted puppy finally finds his forever home, only to become lost again in a raging blizzard on the streets of Boston. A young girl rescues him and rushes him to her small apartment. It's Christmas Eve when his owners find not only him but also the true meaning of Christmas.

This uplifting tale will hopefully inspire many more people to adopt lonely animals from shelters and always keep the spirit of Christmas giving in their hearts. A portion of the proceeds from the book will go toward supporting local animal shelters and finding puppies, like Fluffy, a forever home.

About the Author

Despite being the owner of a successful construction company, Tony Cail has harbored dreams of being a writer all his life. Inspired by his favorite teacher, Mr. Cahill, he wrote stories for his high school creative writing class, and in college, one of the professors said he should consider a career in writing. When his children were growing up, Tony would dream up imaginary bedtime stories each night, spinning tales about anything from lost puppies at Christmas to kids working construction on other planets. The Christmas Puppy was always his daughter's favorite. Tony resides in Reading, Massachusetts.
