About the Author
DV Berkom is a slave to the voices in her head. As the bestselling author of two award-winning thriller series (Leine Basso and Kate Jones), her love of creating resilient, kick-*ss women characters stems from a lifelong addiction to reading spy novels, mysteries, and thrillers, and longing to find the female equivalent within those pages. Raised in the Midwest, she received a BA in political science from the University of Minnesota and promptly moved to Mexico to live on a sailboat. Many, many cross-country moves later, she now lives just outside of Seattle, Washington with the love of her life, Mark, a chef-turned-contractor, and several imaginary characters who love to tell her what to do. THE BODY MARKET Named a Notable 100 book by Shelf Unbound
B.R.A.G. Medallion Honoree
Named a TOP PICK by Night Owl Reviews

"I've read several of the Leine Basso thrillers, but this one sets thestandard for adventure thrillers and is, in my humble view, the best yet. Biting dialogue and gritty descriptions are hallmarks of Berkom'sfiction, and she writes action scenes that are as brilliant as freshlyspilt blood.." Reviewer Charles Ray

"If Leine Basso had her own TV series, an episode a day wouldn't be enough for me. I just can't get enough of her." Cath 'n' Kindle Book Reviews

"Now this is an author who knows how to write! I have enjoyed all thebooks in the Leine Basso series but this is undoubtedly her best." Carol E. Wyer, Bestselling author

"The plot of The Body Market is easy to see as plausible with two olderteens stretching their wings beyond what is prudent and having itbackfire in a big way. When Leine tries to discover what happened, itmakes for a fast-paced story ... that the more it developed, the more I wondered how it could ever come to a happy resolution." Books and Pals
