About the Author
Ed Ferrellhas lived in Alaska for almost fifty years.He spent much of his life teaching English in high schools throughout Southeast Alaska and has taught at the University of Alaska in Juneau. Ferrell devoted much of his free time to exploring Alaska's gold rush country and became interested in researching its past.
