About the Author
Stephen Fabes is a physician who believes that stories can shed light on the roots of health and disease. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and his writing has appeared in The Guardian, The Telegraph, CNN, Backpacker, Adventure Travel, and Cycle.
